The essay is performed so that first it’s placed the transparent film on the channel and the filter paper. Then the fabric is placed under testing, ensuring that all surfaces are in contact and unwrinkled. At the end of the channel a beaker is positioned, weighed beforehand, to collect the liquid that slips from the fabric surface. We let drop the test liquid and after 60 seconds, remove the fabric and re-weigh the filter paper, the transparent film and the beaker. We calculate the difference in weight before and after the test and with these values we get the penetration rate and repellency index for each test tube and each liquid given in%. If a concret liquid is not specified, the test must be hold with 4 different liquids: - Sodium hydroxide 10%-30% - Sulfuric acid - 1-Butanol - O-xylene
