EN471 High visibility This standard specifies the characteristics of the clothing designed to visually warn the presence of the worker, so that he/she can be detected under risk situations, under any daylight or under the lights of a car in the darkness. The test methods offer a minimum level of protection when the instructions for the care of the garment are observed. These are the requirements to be accomplished:
The chromatic coordinates shall be placed in one of the areas defined by Table 1 and the factor shall be higher than the corresponding minimum value of Table 1. The colour after the exposure to the xenon shall remain in the areas defined by Table 1. The luminous factor shall not be lower than the minimum values of the table.
